Over the past 25 years, Ken has had a great passion for helping others and mentoring couples and singles in the area of personal organization and life planning.
Ken is also well-known for his commitment to training and education both personally and professionally. Ken has taught at three colleges for over 20 years and has the distinction of holding a lifetime teaching credential.
Since 1995, Ken Petersen, along with his family, has donated time and personal finances to assist Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit international organization dedicated to providing shelter for millions of people worldwide. Ken serves on the local Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors.
In honor of his exceptional contributions, Ken was bestowed the 2005 Habitat for Humanity Humanitarian of the Year award.
Ken is also a very dedicated and active member of his church. In addition to his numerous humanitarian pursuits, Ken has over 30 years of experience in architectural, civil, and structural engineering. He along with his partners, ran a successful municipal consulting services business supervising a team of project managers, architects, engineers, and technical support staff numbering more than 160 people.
